Funding Scope: Grants range between four (04) to ten (10) months, with a typical one-year grant valued at around $20,000 USD. This funding goes toward tuition and academic expenses.


2# Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program

This is designed for post-doctoral researchers, university lecturers, and academic experts from Swiss institutions who want to:

  • Conduct research
  • Deliver lectures
  • Combine teaching and research

Grant Duration: You can spend up to 10 months at a U.S. university or research institute.


Who Can Apply?

  • Swiss nationals currently enrolled in or working at recognized Swiss universities or research institutions.
  • Applicants must meet academic and English language proficiency requirements.
  • U.S. citizens are not eligible to apply through the Swiss Fulbright program—they should apply via https://ch.usembassy.gov/education-culture/fulbright/.
  • Non-Swiss nationals should apply through the Fulbright office in their country of citizenship.
