The University Corridors for Refugees (UNICORE) 7.0 project is back with an incredible opportunity for refugee students seeking to pursue higher education in Italy. This initiative, led by Italian universities with support from UNHCR, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Caritas Italiana, Diaconia Valdese, Centro Astalli, and other partners, aims to provide refugees with a fully funded pathway to study in Italy.
If you are a refugee currently residing in Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, or Zimbabwe, this scholarship can help you achieve your academic dreams in a supportive and inclusive environment.
UNICORE 7.0 Scholarship Benefits
Selected students will begin their degree courses in September 2025 at one of the 37 participating universities in Italy. The scholarship provides:
- Full Tuition Fee Exemption at participating Italian universities.
- Financial Support for visa-related expenses and plane tickets.
- A Study Grant to assist with living costs in Italy.
- Assistance and Guidance from UNICORE partners to support your academic journey.
This scholarship ensures that refugee students receive the financial and educational support they need to successfully integrate into Italian university life.
