Koç University in Istanbul has officially announced admissions for the prestigious Fung Fellowship 2026, a program jointly funded by Koç University and the Victor and William Fung Foundation. Established in 2015, the fellowship offers an exceptional opportunity for talented students from China to pursue fully funded Ph.D. studies across various disciplines at Koç University.

Funding Package

The Fung Fellowship at Koç University provides comprehensive financial support to selected students, ensuring they can focus entirely on their research and academic development. Benefits include:

  • Monthly stipend to cover living expenses.

Eligibility Scale

The Fung Fellowship is designed to support high-achieving Ph.D. applicants from China. To be considered, applicants must:

  • Apply for admission to a Ph.D. program at Koç University through the graduate online application system.
  • Provide all required documents, including TOEFL and GRE/GMAT scores, transcripts, and references.
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance and leadership potential.
  • Preference is given to candidates from China’s top universities with outstanding academic records.

Application Process and Timeline

Students must first apply to their desired Ph.D. program at Koç University by submitting a complete online application (https://international.ku.edu.tr/scholarships/fung-fellowship-at-koc-university/) before the respective university deadlines. Successful candidates who are admitted will then be notified if they are selected as Fung Fellows for the academic year 2026–2027.
