Gadjah Mada International Fellowship (GMIF) 2024 in Indonesia

GMIF 2024 Fellowship Overview

The GMIF aims to foster future leaders and innovators by offering 15 full-time Master’s degree fellowships. The scholarship covers tuition fees for four semesters, living expenses at the Yogyakarta rate, a round-trip international airfare, health insurance, electronic Visa and Limited Stay Permit (ITAS), and even a thesis research incentive for the Master Program, ensuring a comprehensive support system for the academic journey ahead.

Who Can Apply for GMIF 2024?

Ideal candidates are those under 30, holding a Bachelor’s degree in various fields including Engineering, Science, Medicine/Health, Geography, Agriculture, Forestry, Animal Science, Economics, Law, Social Sciences, and Humanities. Applicants must have an excellent academic record and good proficiency in English, backed by TOEFL or IELTS scores, among other requirements.

Application Process

To apply, prospects must register online at the UGM admission system and submit all required documents, which include academic transcripts, a passport-sized photograph, a curriculum vitae, proof of English proficiency, a personal statement, and two academic references, among others.

  • Final Result Announcement: 30 April 2024

Successful candidates will embark on their journey to Yogyakarta in August 2024, beginning with an Indonesian Language Course to not only enhance their linguistic skills but also immerse them in the cultural richness of Indonesia.
