Launched in celebration of KU’s centennial, this scholarship is designed to empower future global leaders from around the world, but it’s exclusively available to those nominated through a University Level Agreement.
What this KU Scholarship Offers?
The Global KU Scholarship provides generous financial support for both new exchange students and continuing/visiting students at Korea University. The award types and amounts vary depending on your semester and academic performance:
- Admission Scholarship (First Semester): From KRW 100,000 to KRW 1,600,000 for new exchange students.
- Travel Scholarship (First Semester): From KRW 100,000 to KRW 1,500,000 to assist with travel costs.
- Merit Scholarship (Second Semester): Awarded to continuing exchange students or visiting students based on academic merit, worth KRW 1,200,000.
Note: Only exchange or visiting students who participate in a one-year program under the university-wide agreement are eligible.
