MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP): Full Scholarship
If you’re from the Middle East or North Africa, and the words “water management” make your heart skip a beat, you’re in for a treat! The MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP) aims to build connections, grow talent, and elevate professionals to new heights with full scholarships for short courses in the Netherlands.
Who’s Eligible?
Professionals from Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Tunisia, and Syria (if you’re based in one of these countries) – this is your golden ticket!
What’s the Deal?
The MSP scholarship covers everything from tuition fees to travel costs, accommodation, and living expenses while you learn in one of the world’s top water education institutions. All you need to do is pick your course, pack your bags, and prepare for an adventure.
Course Options:
- Water Quality Assessment and Monitoring (Feb 3 – Feb 21, 2025): Master the art of monitoring water bodies through classroom and field-based exercises.
- Remote Sensing for Agricultural Water Management (Mar 3 – Mar 14, 2025): Get hands-on with remote sensing data to measure agricultural water use and productivity.
- Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (Jun 23 – Jul 4, 2025): Learn how to integrate sustainability into decision-making and environmental impact assessments.
How to Apply?
- Mark your calendar: The MSP scholarship opens from 3 September to 15 October 2024 (16:00 CET).
- Get nominated: Talk to your employer about nominating you – their support is crucial!
- Submit your application: Once you’re admitted to the course, gather your documents (employer statement, motivation letter, passport, and more) and apply online at https://www.un-ihe.org/courses/on-campus/tuition-and-scholarships-on-campus-short-courses.
