Eligibility Criteria

- Intend to return to her home country upon completion of her degree, applying her knowledge to benefit her community and promote peace.
- Have at least one full year of formal coursework remaining at the time of application, and plan to reside in the host country for the entire academic year.
- Alternatively, be an international student at Cottey College.
Important restrictions apply:
- Doctoral candidates who have completed all coursework and are working solely on their dissertations are not eligible as first-time applicants.
- Citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. or Canada are not eligible. However, students who are residents for tax purposes may apply.
- Funding is not provided for online courses, internships, research-only programs, or practical training unless combined with formal coursework.
Application Timeline & Process
Applications for the IPS Fund 2026 open on September 15, 2025, and close on December 15, 2025. Applicants must submit their forms during this window, alongside documentation proving their financial resources and academic enrollment.
