International PG Merit Scholarship 2026-27 at University of East Anglia

The University of East Anglia (UEA), one of the UK’s most respected institutions for research and innovation, has just opened applications for its International Postgraduate Merit Scholarship (2026/27) — a golden ticket for outstanding international students eager to begin their postgraduate journey in the UK!

What Makes This Scholarship Special?

Unlike most scholarships that require lengthy forms or essays, this one is automatic. Once you receive your offer for an eligible postgraduate program at UEA, you’re already in the running — no separate application needed!

The International PG Merit Scholarship C is designed to recognize academic excellence, rewarding ambitious students who’ve proven their dedication at the undergraduate level. Here’s how it works:

  • £4,000 off your tuition fees if your final undergraduate result equals a UK 2:2 classification.
  • £5,000 off if your result matches or exceeds a UK 2:1 classification.

These amounts will be automatically deducted from your tuition fees once your place is confirmed — an immediate boost to your finances and your morale.

Who Can Apply?

This scholarship is open to international students worldwide paying overseas tuition fees. Whether you’re from Europe, Africa, Asia, North America, South America, Australia, or the Middle East, this is your chance to study at one of the UK’s top-ranked universities.

However, note that:

  • Students from Bangladesh, India, or Pakistan should apply for International PG Merit Scholarship A (2026/7).
  • Students from Colombia, Ghana, Indonesia, Iran, Kenya, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, or Zimbabwe should check out Scholarship B (2026/7).

Please note that for two-year programs, the award applies only to the first year.

This scholarship can be combined only with the International Early Payment Award — not with any other UEA scholarship. If you qualify for a higher-value award, that will automatically replace this one.
