Ithaca College Study Abroad Scholarship 2025 Open
The Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) is now accepting applications for its Summer, Fall, and Academic Year 2025-2026 scholarship programs. These scholarships at Ithaca college aim to make studying abroad accessible to U.S. undergraduate students who face financial and demographic barriers, ensuring that study abroad reflects the rich diversity of the U.S. population.
Since its establishment in 2010, FEA has awarded over $3.7 million in scholarships to 1,186 students from across the U.S., empowering them to pursue international education. A single application enables students to be considered for the FEA General Scholarship as well as a range of special named and dedicated scholarships.
Benefits of Scholarship
Recipients of the FEA Scholarship receive financial support to fund their study abroad programs, helping cover tuition, travel, and living expenses. The scholarship focuses on underrepresented groups, such as first-generation college students, racial minorities, and those with community college backgrounds, providing life-changing opportunities to gain global perspectives.

- Enrollment: Be enrolled as an undergraduate at a U.S.-based college or university.
- Program Credit: Receive academic credit from their home institution for the study abroad program.
- Financial Need: Demonstrate financial need through FAFSA and the FEA Financial Aid Form.
Demographic factors considered include first-generation college student status, racial identity, and community college experience. Applicants are also evaluated on academic plans, preparedness (via essays), and unofficial transcripts.

- Submit the online application form.
- Print and complete the Financial Aid Form, to be signed by their university’s financial aid office.
