Jack Scoble Scholarship 2025 Applications Now Open
The Parkes Shire Council is excited to announce that applications for the 2025 Jack Scoble Scholarships are now open. This annual scholarship program supports students in their pursuit of higher education and vocational training by providing essential financial assistance. Named in honor of the late Jack Scoble, MBE, OAM—former Mayor of Parkes and a dedicated community leader—the scholarships embody his values of education, civic pride, and community service.
The Jack Scoble Scholarships offer youth funding to cover tertiary expenses, including textbooks, laptops, relocation, and accommodation costs. Since its inception in 2006, the initiative has provided a total of $146,000 in financial aid, helping countless students achieve their educational dreams. In 2025, $15,000 will be awarded to eligible recipients.
