The Jefferson Fellowships 2024 program offers a unique opportunity to dive deep into the complex security and economic environments of East Asia. Application Process

To apply for the Jefferson Fellowships, you need to submit the following:

  • Online Application Form here: https://www.eastwestcenter.org/apply/2024-jefferson-fellowships
  • Letter of Interest: A maximum of 3 pages, double-spaced, detailing your news organization, job duties, relevant issues you want to explore, and the benefits you expect from the fellowship.
  • Résumé or CV: A maximum of 2 pages.
  • Employer’s Statement of Support: A letter from your supervisor/employer indicating support for your participation (not required for freelance journalists).
  • Two Professional References: Letters of recommendation from two professional references.
