Benefits of the Jinan Sister City Scholarship

1# Full Scholarship

    • For degree students (bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral programs): Up to 25,000 RMB per academic year.
    • For non-degree students (language or specialized academic programs longer than one semester): Up to 20,000 RMB per academic year.

2# Partial Scholarship

    • Designed for non-degree students participating in programs shorter than one semester, with a maximum monthly award of 1,000 RMB, totaling no more than 5,000 RMB.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be a non-Chinese citizen from one of Jinan’s sister cities.
  2. Hold a high school diploma (for bachelor’s programs), a bachelor’s degree (for master’s programs), or a master’s degree (for doctoral programs).
  3. Maintain good physical and mental health and abide by Chinese laws and regulations.
  4. Achieve strong academic performance and avoid violations of school rules.
  5. Ensure no other scholarships or grants from the Chinese government are received.
  6. Adhere to the admission requirements specified by Shandong University and the Ministry of Education of China.

Note: The nationality of applicants will be determined by the exit and entry administration authority of the Chinese public security organ.
