1# MS/PhD Scholarships (Research Path – Work Commitment)
Students under this category are expected to work with Khalifa University or a designated entity upon graduation. Scholarship tiers include:

- Tier I: Full tuition waiver, AED 20,000 monthly stipend, additional AED 20,000 allowance (subject to approval), textbooks, conference funding, medical insurance, visa application fees, and flights for international students.
- Tier II: Full tuition waiver, AED 20,000 monthly stipend, additional AED 10,000 allowance (subject to approval), textbooks, conference funding, medical insurance, visa application fees, and flights for international students.
- Tier III: 75% tuition fee waiver, AED 20,000 monthly stipend, textbooks, conference funding, medical insurance, visa application fees, and flights for international students.
- Tier IV: 50% tuition fee waiver, free university accommodation, textbooks, medical insurance, visa application fees, and flights for international students.
2# PhD Scholarships (Study Path – No Work Commitment)

- Tier I: Full tuition waiver, AED 4,000 monthly stipend, free accommodation, textbooks, conference funding, medical insurance, visa fees, and flights for international students.
- Tier II: 75% tuition waiver, AED 2,000 monthly stipend, free accommodation, textbooks, conference funding, medical insurance, visa fees, and flights for international students.
- Tier III: 50% tuition waiver, free accommodation, textbooks, medical insurance, visa fees, and flights for international students.
- Tier IV: 25% tuition waiver, free accommodation, textbooks, medical insurance, visa fees, and flights for international students.
Eligibility Requirements
Master’s Degree Applicants

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
- English proficiency: IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL iBT 91 / EmSAT English 1550.
- Two referee recommendations.
- Statement of purpose (500-1,000 words).
- Admission interview.
Doctorate Degree Applicants

- Master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.25 out of 4.0 (for MSc holders).
- Bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 (for direct PhD applicants).
- GRE quantitative score of 150.
- English proficiency: IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL iBT 91 / EmSAT English 1550.
- Two referee recommendations.
- Statement of purpose (500-1,000 words).
- Research statement (500-1,000 words).
- Admission interview.
English Language Test Exemptions
Applicants may be exempted from submitting TOEFL, IELTS, or EmSAT scores if:

- They are native English speakers who completed their degrees in an English-medium institution.
- They can provide proof of previous IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL iBT 79 / EmSAT 1400 at the time of admission to their previous degree.
