The university has officially announced its tuition fee discounts and scholarship opportunities for the 2026 intake, giving students significant financial relief and rewarding academic performance.

Early Bird Discount – First Academic Year

  • Early Admission: Students must confirm their place and pay the remaining tuition fee within 21 days of receiving the official admission email.
  • Regular Admission: Students must confirm their place and pay the rest of the tuition fee by 30 April 2026.

This discount is available under both Regular Admission and Early Admission routes, making it easier for students who act fast to save big on their tuition.

LUT Scholarship – Second Academic Year

In the second year, LUT supports students with another financial benefit. Those who successfully complete at least 60 ECTS credits of their personal study plan during the first academic year will automatically receive the LUT Scholarship of €5,000 for the second year.

The credits are checked automatically and must appear on your transcript by 31 July 2026.

Fulbright – LUT Graduate Award

For U.S. students, there’s even more good news. The Fulbright–LUT Graduate Award is available through the Fulbright Finland Foundation. This award supports American students with at least a Bachelor’s degree who are applying for Master’s studies at LUT.

With the combination of an Early Bird Discount, LUT Scholarships, and the Fulbright–LUT Graduate Award, LUT University ensures that talented students worldwide can access high-quality education with significant financial support.

For specific details about scholarship policies in Software Engineering and Chemical Engineering programs, students are advised to check their dedicated programme websites as these follow separate rules.
