McCall MacBain Scholarships 2025 Fall Intake in Canada

The McCall MacBain Scholarships offer full funding for master’s or second-entry professional undergraduate programs at McGill University. The scholarships are designed for students who demonstrate leadership potential, community engagement, entrepreneurial spirit, and academic strength.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the 2025 cohort, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Be a current student on track to earn their first bachelor’s degree by August 2025.
  • Have earned their first bachelor’s degree within the past five years (January 2019 or later).
  • Be 30 years or younger in 2024 if they earned their bachelor’s degree more than five years ago. Applicants must also meet the minimum degree and language requirements for McGill master’s program admission.

Benefits

This Canadian scholarship covers:

  • Tuition and fees for the duration of the program.
  • A living stipend of $2,000 CAD per month during academic terms.
  • A one-time relocation grant for moving to Montréal.
  • Up to $5,000 CAD for meaningful summer experiences if not pursuing an academic term during the summer.

Application Process

  1. Application Portal Opens: June 1, 2024.
  2. Submit Application: Complete the online application and submit two reference forms.
  3. Regional Interviews: More than 250 semi-finalists will be invited for regional interviews from October to December 2024.
  4. Final Interviews: Up to 85 finalists will be invited to final interviews in Montréal in March 2025. Travel costs will be covered.

  • Canadian and U.S. Applicants: September 25, 2024, at 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
  • International Applicants: August 21, 2024, at 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
