About the Prize
For more than 20 years, Oxford Instruments NanoScience has awarded the Nicholas Kurti Science Prize to promote and recognize outstanding young scientists. This esteemed prize aims to support those conducting groundbreaking research involving low temperatures and/or high magnetic fields, fostering innovative progress in the field.
Eligibility Criteria
- Career Level: Recognized researchers (R2 level) who hold a PhD or equivalent and are within 7 years of obtaining their PhD are eligible.
- Research Location: Candidates must have conducted their research primarily within a European institution, though they can be of any nationality.
- Nomination Process: Candidates must be nominated by a senior member of their department or institution. Nominators may only sponsor one candidate per year.
