Fully-funded Scholarships 2026-2027 (International Students)

Nottingham Trent University Opens Major Scholarship Rounds for 2026 Entry

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has officially announced its latest lineup of scholarships for international and European students beginning their studies in 2026, offering generous tuition reductions and exclusive regional awards. The scholarships aim to attract bright, high-achieving students to pursue full-time undergraduate and postgraduate degrees across NTU’s globally recognized faculties.

A Gateway for Global Talent

With a strong commitment to diversity and academic excellence, NTU’s scholarship portfolio now includes a wide range of merit-based and country-specific awards. Applicants from regions including Africa, South Asia, the Middle East, East Asia, and Latin America can apply for competitive grants covering up to 50% of tuition fees. These opportunities are available to students who already hold an academic offer from NTU and are classified as overseas students for tuition purposes.

Highlights of the Scholarship Programs Offered by NTU in 2026

NTU’s International Excellence Scholarships remain among the most sought-after opportunities, offering 25% to 50% tuition fee reductions for postgraduate courses. Specialized awards include:

  • Women in Computer Science Scholarship – covering 50% of tuition fees.
  • Taiwan STEM Scholarship – providing 50% fee coverage for science and engineering programs.
  • Regional Awards – such as the Ghana Law School Scholarship (50%), and postgraduate awards for countries like Korea, Pakistan, Vietnam, and Taiwan (up to £5,000).

In addition, NTU offers High Achievers Awards for outstanding applicants from countries including Bangladesh, China, India, Sri Lanka, and Thailand, ranging from £3,000 to £4,000.

For family-linked students, NTU provides a Sibling Loyalty Reward, giving a 20% tuition discount if one sibling is already enrolled.

Eligibility and Selection

To qualify, applicants must hold an offer of admission for an eligible course starting in January or September 2026. Students funded by governments or employers are ineligible, and only those paying international fees are considered. NTU emphasizes that all scholarship essays must be original — applications created using AI or writing tools will not be accepted.

Scholarships are competitive, based on academic merit, and are awarded as a tuition fee reduction upon enrolment. Students may apply for multiple rounds, but they can only receive one NTU award at a time.

Application Process and Deadlines

Interested candidates must first secure an official offer of admission from Nottingham Trent University (NTU) before applying through the university’s dedicated online NTU scholarship application form. Each application is carefully reviewed based on academic excellence, leadership potential, and alignment with NTU’s global values. Applicants are encouraged to present their achievements and motivation clearly, as scholarships are awarded competitively.

For the January 2026 entry, NTU scholarship application deadline for the final round deadline is Wednesday, 12 November 2025 (16:00 UK time).
