NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship 2026 Open for Applications
NVIDIA has officially opened submissions for the twenty-fifth year of its prestigious Graduate Fellowship Program — a unique initiative designed to support outstanding PhD students conducting cutting-edge research in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous vehicles, accelerated computing, and related fields.
With funding of up to $60,000 per award and a mandatory in-person summer internship at one of NVIDIA’s research offices worldwide, this fellowship is a rare chance for emerging researchers to gain global recognition, industry mentorship, and access to world-class technology.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Have completed at least one year of PhD studies at the time of application
- Be majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Architecture, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Be actively engaged in research for their PhD thesis
- Be enrolled full-time during the 2026–2027 academic year and not graduating before May/June 2027
- Be available for an in-person summer internship prior to the fellowship year
- Ensure that the award is administered through their university.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications will be assessed based on:
- Student quality — academic performance, research achievements, recommendations
- Research quality — current results, proposal strength, publication track record
- Relevance to NVIDIA — impact on GPU design, performance, and usage.
Application Requirements
A complete application must include:
- Research summary/thesis proposal (up to 2 pages, plus bibliography)
- Resume/CV with contact details
- 2–3 recommendation letters (at least one from thesis advisor)
- Confirmation of internship availability
- Submission via the online portal before the deadline.
Application Submission Dates
The last date to submit recommendation letters for the NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program is September 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM (Pacific Time). The complete application must be submitted by September 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM (Pacific Time). Final selection decisions will be announced by the end of November 2025.
