Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowship 2026 at St. John’s University

St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has announced the opening of its Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowship Programs for the 2026 session. These two-year, post-Pharm.D. fellowships are designed to provide Doctor of Pharmacy graduates with advanced training in specialized areas of the pharmaceutical industry while offering professional development opportunities through both academic and industry-based experiences.

Fellowship Opportunities in 2026

For the upcoming cycle, the College is partnering with leading pharmaceutical companies to recruit fellows in four distinct practice areas:

  1. American Regent, Inc. – Medical Affairs (1 position)
  2. Pfizer Inc. – Global Market Access and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) (1 position)
  3. Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie Company – Clinical Development (1 position)
  4. PTC Therapeutics – Global Regulatory Affairs (1 position)

Alongside these roles, fellows will also engage in teaching and research activities at St. John’s University, allowing them to build a balanced academic and industry profile.

Application Process and Deadlines

Applications for the 2026 fellowships will open on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Applicants may apply to more than one program, but each application must include a separate Letter of Intent.

  • Curriculum Vitae & Letter of Intent – October 22, 2025
  • Official College Transcript & Three Letters of Recommendation – October 29, 2025

Programmatic interviews will be conducted virtually on a rolling basis beginning in October. In-person interviews may also be arranged during the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting if both candidates and partner organizations are present.

AIFA-Endorsed Timeline

St. John’s University is a member of the Alliance of Industry Fellowship Associates (AIFA), which ensures a fair and transparent process for candidates. For the 2026 fellowships, the AIFA-aligned first offer date is December 12, 2025. This alignment ensures applicants have adequate time to evaluate opportunities without undue pressure.
