POSTECH Summer Program (PSP) 2025 (Fully Funded)

The POSTECH Summer Program (PSP) is now open for applications, offering students a remarkable chance to gain firsthand research experience at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in South Korea. Designed for students from partner institutions, PSP allows participants to delve into academic fields of their interest while engaging in meaningful research and cultural activities.

Program Highlights

• Orientation and Check-In:
  Participants will check in between July 5–6, 2025, followed by an orientation on July 7, 2025.
• Program Duration:
  The program runs from July 7 to August 15, 2025, culminating in a farewell event on August 15, 2025.
• Certificate and Transcript:
  Participants will receive official transcripts and certificates in September 2025, marking their successful completion of the program.

Application Process

1. Apply Online: https://international.postech.ac.kr/user/admission/psp/html/01.do
   Submit your application with the Letter of Nomination and other supporting documents via the PSP website.
2. Evaluation:
   Applications will be reviewed by POSTECH advisors, who may reach out for additional discussions.
3. Admission Announcement:
   Results will be shared in April 2025, along with the Certificate of Admission and Pre-Arrival Orientation details.

Applicants must provide the following:

• Certificate of Enrollment (Apostille required for non-OECD countries)
• Official Academic Transcript (in English)
• Copy of Passport
• Recommendation Letter
• CV and Cover Letter
• Letter of Nomination from the home institution coordinator

Visa and Insurance Requirements

• Visa:
  Depending on your nationality, you may require a Visa Waiver, K-ETA, C-3-1, or D-2-8 visa. Visa-related documents will be provided with the admission result via email.
• Insurance:
  All students must have international health insurance covering injuries and medical treatments during the program. Proof of insurance must be submitted at least two weeks before the program begins.
