The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar has officially opened applications for its government scholarship programs for the 2025–2026 academic year. These scholarships are available to Qatari high school graduates and other eligible applicants looking to pursue higher education locally or abroad.

Three (03) Major Programs to Choose From
This year’s scholarship plan includes three main programs:
- The Amiri Scholarship Programme – Designed for the highest-achieving high school graduates, this prestigious scholarship supports study at 24 of the world’s top-ranked universities and five recognized universities in Qatar. It focuses on critical areas like medicine, engineering, and other high-priority disciplines, aiming to build strong national talent.
- The Abroad Scholarship Programme – Offers support for Qatari students who want to study at international universities beyond those listed under the Amiri program, in a variety of approved fields.
- The Local Scholarship Programme (including the Tomouh Program) – Supports students pursuing higher education within Qatar, offering flexibility across disciplines and institutions.
Special Recognition for Top Students
To further support academic excellence, the Ministry has also introduced extra benefits for the top ten students in the science, humanities, and specialized high school tracks. These outstanding students will receive enhanced support to continue their success at the university level.
