The selected scholar will pursue either a Bachelor in Humanities or a Dual Degree in Business Administration and Humanities at the renowned IE School of Humanities in Spain.

Scholarship Coverage

The Queen Sofía Spanish Institute – IE Foundation Scholarship covers up to 50% of tuition fees for the entire duration of the selected bachelor’s program. The award is renewable annually based on academic performance and adherence to IE University’s values of leadership and global engagement.

In addition, recipients become part of the prestigious IE Foundation Fellows Community, an exclusive network that connects past and present scholarship holders with extraordinary academic and extracurricular achievements. This community provides mentorship, leadership development opportunities, and professional exposure to an international academic environment.

Who Can Apply?

This scholarship program is designed specifically for students who:

  • Hold U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
  • Have demonstrated outstanding academic excellence and a strong personal profile.

Application Process

The application process consists of four main steps:

  1. Apply for admission to IE University’s Bachelor in Humanities or Dual Degree in Business Administration & Humanities.
  2. Submit the scholarship application through the IE Financial Aid portal.
  3. The Selection Committee reviews candidates who have been successfully admitted.
  4. Final selection of the scholarship recipient based on academic excellence, financial need, and personal merit.

Students are encouraged to begin the process early, as IE University’s admission decisions may take up to four weeks. To ensure timely consideration, applicants should start at least six weeks before the scholarship deadline.
