Awardees Responsibilities
As a Research Associate, you’ll play a central role in shaping Leuphana’s AI ecosystem:
- Build and expand the AI Innovation Community at the university.
- Organize knowledge-sharing events such as workshops, hackathons, and networking meetups.
- Collaborate with companies, startups, and industrial partners to connect research with practice.
- Lead efforts in securing third-party funding (ERDF focus) for projects.
- Mentor aspiring entrepreneurs at the AI Founders Lab under the LStartupLab.
- Strengthen the exchange between academia and regional companies in the EU transition region of Lüneburg.
Eligibility Criteria

- Master’s degree in a technical field (PhD is a plus).
