Scholarship Award Package
This research scholarship is fully financed by COFAC internal funds and is designed to support students who are enrolled in PhD programs. The successful candidate will join COPELABS under the supervision of Prof. Dushantha Nalin K. Jayakody, focusing on the design and simulation of advanced signal processing algorithms for hybrid terrestrial–underwater communication systems.
- Duration: 3 months (starting October 1, 2025)
- Monthly Allowance: €1,309.64 (paid at the end of each month via bank transfer)
- Work Plan: Research in autonomous navigation and communication reliability, especially in environments using Terahertz (THz) and Underwater Visible Light Communication (UVLC) links. The project will address real-world challenges like misalignment, molecular absorption, water turbidity, and turbulence through adaptive techniques.
