  • Demonstrate knowledge in biomedicine, bioinformatics, biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, or anatomophysiology.
  • Have prior experience with data collection, statistical analysis, and functional tests in clinical or laboratory settings.
  • Show evidence of participation in scientific projects or publications.
  • Possess strong communication, organizational skills, motivation, and the ability to work as part of a team.

The application period for the Scientific Research Fellowship 2025 at the University of Algarve runs from 25 August 2025 to 5 September 2025, with the final deadline set for 5 September 2025 at 23:59 (Europe/London time).

The fellowship is scheduled to begin on 15 September 2025, with an initial contract lasting three months, which may be renewed until the conclusion of the project. Final results will be communicated directly to applicants via email and also displayed publicly at the University of Algarve, Campus de Gambelas.
