Scotland Pakistan Scholarships 2025 for Young Women and Girls

The Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls 2025 is now accepting applications, offering a powerful opportunity for Pakistani women to pursue graduate and undergraduate studies at HEC-recognized universities across Pakistan. Funded by the Scottish Government and administered by the British Council Pakistan, the program is designed to make higher education more accessible, especially for women from rural areas, minority communities, and those with disabilities.

Funding Package

The scholarship covers:

  1. Full tuition fees for eligible courses
  2. University hostel costs (where applicable)
  3. Travel allowance: Two return trips per academic year between home and university for students residing in on-campus hostels

Eligible Fields of Study

Applicants must be admitted to a four-year bachelor’s degree or a two-year master’s/MPhil degree in one of the following subject areas:

  1. Sustainable Energy
  2. Education
  3. Food Security and Agriculture
  4. STEM (for Master’s level only)
  5. Health Sciences
  6. Climate.

Scotland Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be female and Pakistani nationals residing in Pakistan
  • Hold a confirmed admission offer from an HEC-recognized university in one of the listed subject areas
  • Be enrolled in a two-year master’s or four-year bachelor’s program

Young women with disabilities, from rural backgrounds, or minority groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
