Admission Requirements

To qualify for admission, applicants must meet the following academic and professional standards:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (minimum 180 ECTS credits) or an equivalent qualification from a reputable university.
  • At least two years of professional experience in the field of SME promotion, entrepreneurship, or training.
  • Proof of English language proficiency (minimum TOEFL iBT 78 or IELTS 6.0 overall band).

Special Notes:

  • Applicants with a three-year bachelor’s degree are eligible if they achieved at least 60% (First Division) or GPA 3.0 or above.
  • Applicants from China and Vietnam must submit an APS Certificate.
  • Medium of instruction certificates are accepted if the undergraduate degree was taught in English.
  • TOEFL ITP, TOEFL TOEIC, IELTS General Training, and Duolingo results are not accepted.

Application Period

The application period for DAAD EPOS Scholarship applicants for the SEPT MBA Program (Winter Term 2026/27) runs from August 1 to October 1, 2025. Applications must be submitted online via the official Leipzig University application portal. The updated link will go live on August 1, 2025 — make sure to prepare your documents early!
