Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this opportunity, applicants must:
- Be ordinarily resident in Sub-Saharan Africa
- Hold a First Class or Upper Second-Class Honours Degree (or international equivalent) in engineering or a numerate discipline
- Hold a Master’s level degree qualification
- Apply to undertake a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London
- Propose a research project directly relevant to challenges in Sub-Saharan Africa
- Be a new applicant (the scholarship is not available to continuing PhD students).
