Launched by the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic, this opportunity welcomes students from all corners of the world to study full-time in Slovakia and build their future in a globally connected, student-friendly setting.
Slovakian Scholarship Benefits
A successful applicant can receive up to EUR 15,000 over the duration of their study program. Specific benefits include:
- EUR 500/month for:
- 3 years (Bachelor’s or Joint Bachelor + Master’s program)
- 2 years (Master’s program)
- Access to public health insurance upon request
- Erasmus+ and academic mobility opportunities
- Financial support to reduce your living costs while you study in Slovakia.
The scholarship is co-financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) and the state budget of the Slovak Republic.
Programs Offered
Eligible students can apply for scholarships to pursue:
- Bachelor’s Programs (3 years)
- Combined Bachelor’s + Master’s Programs
- Master’s Programs (2 years)
Programs are offered in Slovak or foreign languages, and many may be tuition-free. All eligible study fields align with the Smart Specialization Strategy of the Slovak Republic (SK RIS3 2021+).
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must:
- Be an international student from any country in the world
- Intend to study full-time in Slovakia at the bachelor’s, joint bachelor+master, or master’s level
- Achieve a minimum SAT score of 1100 (main selection criterion).
