  • Be under 35 years of age on 1 September 2026.
  • Demonstrate a GPA of 7.5/10 or 75% in prior education.
  • Show a proven record of contributions to human rights and/or rule of law initiatives.
  • Preference is given to applicants who do not yet hold a Master’s degree.

Selection Process With Timeline

  1. February 2026 – UM International Services Desk checks applications for completeness.
  2. March 2026 – Faculty of Law reviews and ranks applicants.
  3. March 2026 – Shortlisted applicants invited for an online interview.
  4. April–May 2026 – Final decision announced (selected, waitlisted, or rejected).
  5. August 2026 – Awardees attend the Pre-Academic Training Programme before beginning studies.
