What is the SASEAF Programme?
Hosted by the Singapore National Academy of Science (SNAS), this prestigious fellowship empowers early-career researchers from ASEAN countries (excluding Singapore) to collaborate with Singapore’s top research institutions. Whether you’re exploring public health, infectious diseases, sustainability, or a completely different field — if your work matters, Singapore wants to hear from you!
SASEAF Fellowship Benefits
- A generous monthly stipend of S$4,000 to S$6,500, depending on your qualifications.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of an ASEAN country (not Singapore) and not based in Singapore.
- Hold a PhD from a reputable institution.
- Be currently employed or have a job offer at a public-sector research institution in your home country.
- Be under 40 years of age at the time of application.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English.
