The funding is partially covered by the Faculty of Medicine and partially by the student’s supervisor, ensuring academic collaboration and shared responsibility for the research process. For the Preparatory Research School, students receive the same level of full financial support, funded entirely by the Faculty of Medicine for two summer months, guaranteeing the resources needed to complete both the spring preparatory component and the summer project.
Application Period
For the Summer Research Scholarship, the initial application stage closes on 26 January 2026, with results communicated by 17 February 2026. Students proceeding to course selection must submit their project plans by 21 April 2026. For the Preparatory Research School, scholarship and course applications close earlier, on 9 December 2025, with project plan submissions due on 24 April 2026.
