Big news for students passionate about creativity, wellbeing, and social impact. University College London (UCL) has officially announced tuition fee scholarships for the Creative Health MASc programme for the 2026/27 academic year, opening doors for both Home and Overseas applicants.
Designed to widen participation and support students from diverse backgrounds, these awards can significantly reduce — or even eliminate — the financial barrier to studying one of UCL’s most innovative interdisciplinary master’s programmes.
What Financial Support Does This Scholarship Offer?
This is not a token fee reduction — it’s a substantial tuition-focused award aimed at easing the cost of postgraduate study at UCL.
- Total scholarship value: up to £25,000, with the possibility of multiple awards
- Home / UK & EU (settled or pre-settled status): funding capped at £16,800
- Overseas students: funding capped at £35,400
- Scholarships may be split across multiple recipients, depending on applicant volume and merit
- Funding applies only to tuition fees and is valid for the 2026/27 academic year
Can You Apply?
UCL is targeting applicants who demonstrate both academic commitment and financial need, with criteria tailored for Home and Overseas students.
For UK & EU Nationals (Settled or Pre-Settled Status)
To be eligible for the Creative Health MASc Tuition Fee Scholarship, applicants must be UK nationals or EU nationals holding settled or pre-settled status and domiciled in the UK. The scholarship is aimed at students with demonstrated financial need, meaning the household income must be below £42,875. Applicants must also be enrolling in their first Master’s degree.
In addition, candidates are required to meet at least one widening-participation criterion, which includes being from an ethnic minority background, being disabled or neurodivergent (whether visible or non-visible), having caring responsibilities, or coming from a low-participation background, such as being the first in their family to attend university.
For Overseas Applicants
For international candidates, the scholarship is open to students who are eligible to pay the Overseas tuition fee rate and who come from a lower-income background, defined as a maximum household income of £42,875 or the overseas equivalent. Applicants must have submitted a complete admission application, including references, for a full-time Master’s degree at UCL for the 2026/27 academic year.
Successful candidates must plan to study in the UK and attend the programme in person. While applications are welcome from all countries outside the UK, preference will be given to applicants from low- and middle-income countries, as classified by the OECD.
The application process for the Creative Health MASc Tuition Fee Scholarships offered by University College London (UCL) will begin in August 2026, when eligible offer holders will be contacted directly with application instructions. Funding will only be confirmed after enrolment at UCL and applies strictly to the 2026/27 academic year.
