Internship Project Basic Highlights
- Location: Tokyo, Japan
- Duration: 3–6 months (between March 2025 and December 2025)
- Stipend: JPY 5,500/day, inclusive of transport costs
- Work Modality: Hybrid (office and teleworking)

What You’ll Do?
As an intern, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening UNICEF’s advocacy efforts by:
- Enhancing donor visibility and organizing key information for counterparts and media.
- Managing and updating the PPD Tokyo website and social media platforms.
- Translating UNICEF messages, press releases, and publications into Japanese.
- Supporting events, workshops, and consultations.
- Gaining hands-on experience in public relations, website management, and event organization.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, you must:
- Be enrolled in a university/graduate school or have graduated within the last two years.
- Commit to at least 4 workdays per week for 3–6 months.
- Demonstrate interest in UNICEF’s focus areas such as child rights, education, health, gender, etc.
- Have strong English and Japanese language proficiency (written and oral).
- Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Additional assets:
- Experience in translation, public relations, event management, or social media.
- Knowledge of international cooperation and development assistance.
