How to Check Your DV-2026 Entry Status?
Head over to the official DV Lottery Entrant Status Check portal at: dvprogram.state.gov/ESC/.
All you need is your confirmation number (from your original DV Lottery entry), your last/family name, and your year of birth. This is the ONLY authorized method to find out whether you’ve been selected for further processing in the U.S. Diversity Immigrant Visa Program 2026.
What If You’re Selected? If you’re among the lucky few selected:
- Follow the instructions provided on the Entrant Status Check page carefully.
- Prepare for your visa interview and document submission.
- Act promptly, as selection does not guarantee a visa — all steps must be completed within the fiscal year limit, and spots are limited!
Beware of Scams!
- No emails, texts, or phone calls will be sent to notify you of selection.
- If you receive unsolicited messages claiming you won the DV lottery — IGNORE THEM. They are scams.
- There is no fee to check your result.
