Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive a £5,000 tuition fee waiver spread across the first year of their postgraduate degree. If you’re awarded the scholarship, your tuition fee will be automatically adjusted before enrolment, offering significant savings.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, students must:
- Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a degree at the University of Gloucestershire starting in January 2026.
- Demonstrate academic excellence, outstanding creative talent (if applicable), or noteworthy work experience.
- Ensure all supporting documents are uploaded via the university application portal and CAS Shield.
- Apply individually (applications from third parties or agents are not accepted).
- Be applying for a taught postgraduate degree (PhD, research Master’s, or Professional MSc by Research are not eligible).
Note: If you have already applied and were unsuccessful in a previous academic year, you are not eligible to reapply for this award.
Eligible Programs
This scholarship applies to taught postgraduate degree programs offered at the University of Gloucestershire for the January 2026 intake. Research-based programs are excluded.

- Submit your Merit Scholarship application form yourself here.
- Ensure your academic transcripts, portfolio (if required), and work experience documents are uploaded via the application form and CAS Shield.
All applications are reviewed by an awarding committee, and their decisions are final.
