About the Scholarship
The “Best of South-East” initiative at the University of Graz is an academic and professional development program supported by Steiermärkische Sparkasse, offering selected participants a 12-month scholarship that blends coursework with hands-on work experience. Successful candidates will spend one academic year at the University of Graz, taking courses tailored to their field, while simultaneously gaining valuable professional insights through a practical placement at Steiermärkische Sparkasse.
Who Can Apply?
The scholarship targets two groups of talented individuals:
- Students or recent graduates of business, economics, or law from accredited universities in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Slovenia, or Serbia.
- Current degree students in business, economics, or law at the University of Graz.
Applicants must also be citizens and native speakers of one of the eligible South-Eastern European countries. Ideal candidates are those who wish to broaden their horizons, enrich their academic journey, and take an important step toward building a meaningful international career.
Program Highlights
