About SZTE Start Scholarship
The SZTE Start Scholarship is designed to support newly admitted students with a one-time contribution of 500 EUR towards their initial expenses. A total of 12 scholarships will be awarded, ideally to one student from each faculty of the university.
Scholarship Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
Students must meet the following criteria to be considered for the scholarship:
- Submit your application at Dream Apply platform .
- Secure a ‘Place Reserved’ status in the university’s application system by 30th June 2025 (which means they have been accepted and have paid the tuition fee as per the payment notification).
- Enroll in person at the University of Szeged by 1st September 2025.
Application Process
Follow these steps to apply for the SZTE Start Scholarship 2025:
- Apply via Dream Apply – https://u-szeged.hu/scholarship/szte-start-scholarhsip.
- Complete the SZTE Start Scholarship Task – This will appear in your profile within the system.
- Upload the required documents:
- A one-page CV detailing your academic and extracurricular achievements.
- A one-page Reference Letter from a professor, employer, or other authority explaining why you are an excellent candidate for this scholarship.
Application Deadlines
- Application Submission Deadline: 30th April 2025

- Enrollment Deadline: 1st September 2025.
