About the KAUST VSRP Internship
The VSRP internship is designed for students interested in research and innovation. It allows participants to select from over 100 faculty-led projects, gaining practical experience in their field of interest. Internships last between 3 to 6 months and offer flexibility in start and end dates, making it ideal for students seeking international exposure and research collaborations.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the KAUST VSRP internship, applicants must:
- Be a 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate student or a master’s student in a STEM field.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0.
- Demonstrate English language proficiency (official test scores may be required upon evaluation).
- Hold a valid passport with at least six months of validity.
- KAUST students, KAUST alumni, and current PhD candidates are not eligible to apply.
Required Documents
Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:
- Official transcripts in English for all degrees.
- Letter of recommendation from a faculty member at the current institution.
- Statement of Purpose outlining research interests and goals.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) detailing academic and research experience.
- Valid passport with at least six (06) months of validity.
