Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for York University scholarships, you must:

  • Be an international student requiring a Study Permit for Canada.
  • Apply to an undergraduate degree program beginning in Fall 2025.
  • Have graduated from high school within the last two years and have no prior university or college studies (exceptions apply to certain awards).
  • Possess an excellent academic record with a minimum “A” average or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate leadership through community service, arts, sports, or other achievements (for specific awards).
  • Provide supporting documents, such as a letter of recommendation.
  • Ensure all required documents are marked as “Received” in York’s application portal (MyFile) by February 15, 2025.
