The deadline is September 8, 2026, and there are separate application routes for incoming first-year students and current undergraduate or graduate students. Endeavour confirms that applicants need at least a 3.5 GPA and should be able to demonstrate exceptional work, research or advocacy in STEM.

  • Graduating from high school and entering the first year of college in Fall 2026, or
  • Already enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at a U.S. college or university

Your studies must be in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics field, and you need a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.

This scholarship is therefore not limited to computer science students. Engineering, mathematics, science and other qualifying STEM majors can also fit the programme.

Can International Students Apply for Endeavour $10k Women Scholarship?

Here is the important distinction for foreign students: the published criteria focus on where you study rather than stating a U.S.-citizenship requirement.

Endeavour says applicants must be entering or currently attending a U.S. college or university. The official eligibility information does not list U.S. citizenship as a requirement.

That means an international student studying at an eligible U.S. institution may potentially apply, provided she meets all other conditions.

However, a student studying at a university outside the United States would not meet the stated institution requirement.

How Much Can You Receive?

Endeavour awards scholarships worth up to $10,000 to outstanding women pursuing STEM degrees. Do not read “up to $10,000” as meaning every winner automatically receives $10,000. The programme has historically awarded different amounts to individual recipients.

Endeavour reports that the initiative has distributed more than $85,000 to 15 recipients across 12 universities since 2022.

What Makes an Applicant Competitive?

A 3.5 GPA gets you through an important eligibility gate, but grades alone are not what Endeavour is looking for and applicants should demonstrate exceptional:

  1. STEM work or technical projects
  2. Research
  3. Innovation
  4. STEM advocacy
  5. Leadership or community impact

The strongest application will show what you actually built, researched, improved or changed rather than simply saying you are passionate about technology.

What Documents Do University Applicants Need?

The current university-student application asks for more than a transcript. Applicants must submit a 2–3 page essay explaining their background, life mission, choice of major and how they intend to use their degree to make an impact. A full college transcript is also required.

The application additionally requests three recommendation letters:

  • Two professional recommendations
  • One personal recommendation from someone who is not an immediate family member

A résumé/CV and information about your university, major, GPA and expected graduation date are also included in the application.
