Indiana University of Pennsylvania 2025-26 Promising Scholars Program

Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) is inviting applications for its prestigious Promising Scholars Program for the 2025-26 academic year. Designed to support high-achieving Pennsylvania students—especially minority and first-generation college students—this program provides financial aid, academic development, and career preparation.

Scholarship and Benefits

Promising Scholars receive scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,500 per year, renewable for up to four years. The program also includes:

• Mentorship from upperclassmen
• 80 required study hours per semester
• Professional development opportunities (résumé building, mock interviews, internship applications, job fairs)
• Exclusive campus visit events
• Leadership and volunteer programs.

Eligibility and Application Process

To qualify for this scholarship, students must:

1. Apply and gain admission to IUP by October 31, 2025.

3. Demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement.
4. Attend an interview event, with limited slots available:
   • Promising Scholars West – November 23, 2025 (IUP Campus)
   • Promising Scholars East – November 26, 2025 (Philadelphia).
