What Is the Helmut Veith Stipend?
This scholarship honors the legacy of Professor Helmut Veith (1971–2016) — a pioneer in computer science, especially in fields like logic in CS, software engineering, and security. His colleagues, friends, TU Wien, and the Wolfgang Pauli Institute established this scholarship to inspire more brilliant women to advance in computer science — just as Prof. Veith envisioned.

This opportunity is exclusively for female students who are either: Already admitted to or planning to apply for one of these English-taught Master’s programs at TU Wien:
- Master in Logic and Computation
- Master in Data Science
- Master in Media and Human-Centered Computing

- Master in Software Engineering & Internet Computing.
