Scholarship Overview
The Anne Hart Scholarship offers partial tuition fee waivers to exceptional international students enrolling in selected Master’s programs at KU Leuven for the 2026–2027 academic year. Up to five scholarships are awarded annually, supporting students from developing and transition economies to study in one of Europe’s most respected faculties.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must hold citizenship from an eligible country in Africa, Asia, Central and South America, Oceania, or Eastern Europe (based on the OECD-DAC ODA list) and must have completed their first degree in their home country. Application Process
To be considered, applicants must:
- Apply for admission to one of the eligible Master’s programs at KU Leuven.
- Submit a separate scholarship application form, including a short cover letter explaining why they deserve the scholarship.
Both applications must be completed before the deadline for eligibility. Conditional or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Application Timeline
Applications for the Anne Hart Scholarship 2026 at KU Leuven will officially open on 15 October 2025, inviting talented students from across eligible countries to apply for this prestigious opportunity. All applications must be submitted before the deadline of 1 March 2026, after which the Faculty of Arts Admissions Committee will begin its comprehensive review and selection process.

Selection is conducted by KU Leuven’s Faculty of Arts Admissions Committee, with priority given to candidates demonstrating outstanding academic achievement, strong motivation, and those hailing from the least developed nations.
