Eligibility Required to Apply

  1. Must be a citizen of an eligible country in Asia, Europe, Middle East & North Africa, or Sub-Saharan Africa
  2. Must be currently enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution in an eligible country
  3. Must be paying tuition at the home institution during application and mobility period
  4. Must be able to complete scholarship activities before September 30, 2027
  5. Must not hold Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
  6. Must not already be enrolled in a Canadian degree or diploma program
  7. Must not be receiving another Global Affairs Canada scholarship
  8. Must secure a valid exchange agreement or research supervisor (for research applicants)
  9. Must obtain required supporting letters and institutional approvals
