Scholarship Benefits

Recipients of the Ajinomoto Scholarship 2026 will receive a comprehensive financial package that includes a living allowance of ¥150,000 per month for research students (maximum 1 year) and ¥180,000 per month for master’s students (maximum 2 years). Additionally, the scholarship covers full examination, admission, and tuition fees, along with a one-way airfare from Indonesia to Japan, ensuring a smooth transition for scholars pursuing their academic goals in Japan.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Graduated or expected to graduate with a minimum GPA of 3.5 from their last academic institution.
  2. Must have 16 years of formal education (equivalent to a 4-year bachelor’s degree).
  3. Under 35 years old as of April 1, 2025.
  4. Must obtain a recommendation from the university rector or academic advisor.
  5. Must be physically and mentally healthy with strong academic potential and motivation.
  6. Must not receive any other scholarships during the study period.
  7. Must follow the selection process conducted by PT Ajinomoto Indonesia.
