Eligibility Criteria For International Students
To apply, you must:
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate or higher degree at a Brisbane-based institution.
- Hold a valid student visa.
- Be in your final year of study in 2025.
- Reside within the Brisbane City Council area.
- Have an IELTS score of 6.5 or PTE score of 59-64 if English is not your first language.
- Be from one of Brisbane’s sister cities or have lived in one of them for at least 12 months.
Internship Requirements
- Internships must be 4 weeks long (April 7 – May 2, 2025).
- Work hours must be between 2 to 7.25 hours per day (maximum 20 hours per week).
- Interns must not work on public holidays.
- The internship must take place in a professional office environment (not a home office).
- Businesses are required to assign a supervisor and ensure a positive learning experience for the intern.
