Harvard University’s Center for Digital Thriving is now accepting applications for the prestigious 2025–2026 Digital Thriving Fellowship Program! This unique fellowship seeks passionate changemakers who are developing innovative approaches to empower youth, promote digital wellbeing, and transform the way we engage with technology.

Why Apply?

The 2025–2026 Fellowship focuses on mindshifts—transformative changes in perspective that help young people thrive in a tech-filled world. Your proposed project can target:

  • Adults serving youth: Parents, educators, clinicians, youth organizations.
  • Policymakers and researchers: Those influencing youth-related decisions.
  • Youth themselves: Shifting how young people think about tech and wellbeing.

As a Fellow, you’ll join a vibrant community of experts from diverse fields and receive mentorship, resources, and collaboration opportunities.


Who Can Apply?

  • Eligible: U.S. residents or applicants with U.S.-based projects.
  • Not Eligible: Full-time students (undergraduate, graduate, or PhD). Part-time students may qualify depending on circumstances.
  • Individual Applications Only: Teams can apply, but only one person will represent the project as the Fellow.

How to Apply?

Submit an initial Letter of Interest by March 15, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PST via the Harvard application portal in Qualtrics https://digitalthriving.gse.harvard.edu/2025-2026-digital-thriving-fellowship-program/.

The countdown has begun for the Digital Thriving Fellowship at Harvard! Applications officially open on February 14, 2025, kicking off your chance to become part of a movement transforming how youth navigate technology. Don’t miss the Info Session on February 19, 2025, at 1 p.m. PST, where you’ll get insider tips on crafting a standout application.

The first major milestone is the Letter of Interest Deadline, set for March 15, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PST. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit Full Proposals by Mid-April 2025, with the final Proposal Deadline falling on May 15, 2025. From there, it’s a nail-biting wait until June 30, 2025, when the final selection of Fellows will be announced.

For those who make the cut, the Fellowship officially kicks off on September 1, 2025—launching you into a year of impactful collaboration, innovation, and community-driven change.
