Who Can Apply? – Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Hatfield Lioness Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a female student from a developing country.
- Have applied and received an unconditional offer for a full-time taught master’s programme at Durham University (excluding MBA, PhD, and research master’s programmes).
- Hold a relevant honours degree of a sufficient standard to gain admission to their chosen programme.
- Meet all course entry requirements, including English language qualifications.
- Not hold a master’s degree already.
- Have no other financial means to study for a master’s in the UK.
- Not be in receipt of any other scholarship funding.
Available Programmes
- All full-time taught master’s degrees at Durham University except MBA, PhD, and research-based master’s programmes.
- Applicants must start their programme in September/October 2025.
Application Deadlines
The last date to apply for the Hatfield Lioness Postgraduate Scholarship 2025-26 is 31 March 2025. Applicants will be notified of the outcome by mid-June 2025.
