Operating out of Indianapolis, IN, Lids boasts over 1,300 locations across the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Australia. Internship Program Overview

As an intern at Lids, you’ll be placed within one of our Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Product Teams, working on projects that enhance our internal and customer-facing applications. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you’ll engage in activities such as:

  • Analyzing requests to determine optimal solutions
  • Meeting with end users and key stakeholders to document and clarify requirements
  • Creating technical designs for code changes
  • Developing code that meets business users’ requirements
  • Testing your own code changes, as well as those of other developers
  • Demonstrating enhancements to end users and key stakeholders
  • Collaborating with the implementation team to merge code throughout test and production environments

This immersive experience is designed to complement and expand your classroom education, offering an opportunity to gain marketable career skills.

Who You Are?

We’re seeking candidates who are:

  • Majoring in Data Analytics or CloudOps/Cloud Engineering (IT-related majors required)
  • Experienced in one or more of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, X++, VB .NET, C#, SQL, Oracle, PHP, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps
  • Interested in system analysis, system design, software development and implementation, and software testing
  • Innovative thinkers with strong communication skills
  • Proven leaders and engaged students on campus
  • Passionate about retail, sports, and business

Internship Requirements

To be considered for the internship program, applicants must:

  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be a full-time student pursuing a baccalaureate or higher degree in an IT-related field at an accredited college/university or attending an accredited 2-year college/university
  • Be available for the entire duration of the internship from June 2, 2025, to August 1, 2025
  • Be willing to work fully on-site at our corporate office in Indianapolis; if not local, you must be willing to relocate to the Indianapolis area for the summer
  • Be expected to graduate between December 2025 and May 2026 (Junior status)
